Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder - Review

Hello My Lovelies,

Today I am going to review a pressed powder from Revlon Nearly Naked range.

The shade I am reviewing is - Fair 010

What Revlon Says :

Undetectable coverage. Unbelievable complexion. Makeup so refreshingly light it melts right in, creating a fresh, even look. Pressed powder blends seamlessly with a lightweight feel. Non cakey.

Available in 6 shades.

Price : Rs. 725 for 8 grams.

My Take On The Product :

It comes in a long white case with a small rectangular sponge applicator and a mirror on the lid. The white case packaging is looking neat and classy. Sponge applicator could have been quite large. With small sponge it is very difficult to apply the compact. If you use a powder brush the application is very smooth and natural than the sponge.
It is okay for touch ups but not for initial application.

The texture is finely milled, soft and smooth. It blends so well on the skin.
The name Nearly Naked is perfectly suited for this pressed powder. It gives a very natural skin like finish with sheer coverage.
It is not cakey and doesn't look or feel heavy on skin.

It stayed for about 1 to 2 hours when applied directly on skin. It stays much longer for about 4 to 5 hours when applied over foundation or BB creams, after which I need a touch up.

Yay!
  • Neat and classy white packaging.
  • Soft and smooth texture.
  • Gives natural and fresh look.
  • Doesn't look cakey.
Nah!
  • Sheer coverage.
  • Little pricey for a drugstore brand.
  • Small sponge applicator.

Happy Glitters Rating : 4 / 5

Will I Repurchase It?

Yes! May be :) :)

Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon - Review and Swatch

Hi Girls....How are you all?

I am back after a very long time. Today I am with a review on a lip crayon by FACES.

Faces has launched these beauties in two finishes - Matte and Starry Matte (with a touch of glitter) as per the brand.

I am reviewing the matte version here in the shade - WRAPPED UP 09.

Price : Rs. 799 for 2.8 grams

Product Description :

A collection of lip crayons featuring timeless matte and starry matte shades with superior color pigment & hydration. From beautiful nudes to striking reds to shades of pinks and corals there's a shade for everyone. Dresses up lips in statement shades in matte / starry matte finish with rich, color bright pigments while being super comfortable on lips.

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT :

Packaging :

It is a color - coded crayon stick with a transparent cap. These are non retractable and need to be sharpened.
I got a faces sharpener worth Rs.125 free with it.

Texture :

It has a very creamy and smooth formula. It is a buttery soft lip crayon. It glides on easily on the lips. It has a pure matte finish and is true to its name.
It doesn't settles into fine lines and stays matte without drying the lips.

Shade :

The shade 'Wrapped Up 09' is a nude brown shade with peach undertones which is perfect for everyone and it doesn't wash you out.

These crayons are saturated with pigments and one swipe is opaque enough to cover even pigmented lips.

Staying Power :

It transfers minimally which is a good thing so it stays on for a good time.
It stays on my lips with full intensity for 4 - 5 hours and it fades evenly after that. A tint is left behind after it fades.
As with all matte lip products, exfoliating and moisturizing the lips before application is highly recommended. It doesn't cling to dry patches as much as other matte lip products.

Here is the SWATCH

Yay!!
  • Soft, creamy and smooth formula.
  • Applies evenly and easily.
  • Doesn't cling to dry patches or settles into fine lines.
  • Excellent color pay-off.
Nah!!
  • Highly priced.
  • Needs to be sharpened which leads to product wastage.

Happy Glitters Rating : 4.5 / 5

Will I Repurchase It?

Yes! Yes! Yes! I will try out the other shades in this range.
